Here to deliver his new single is Ohio-native, LongLiveWOULF. Titled “Fear,” the record serves as his first drop of the year, produced by Antoine Christopher. Regarded as a very personal record for him, WOULF briefly spoke on the importance of “FEAR“, and why it was created.
“Yea, “Fear” was made three years ago. It was three days after I came back from performing at SXSW and I was hella inspired, ready to work. I was also coming off the funeral of my brother from January of that year, opened for Ja Rule two weeks later at the House of Blues in Cleveland.. so I was very emotional.
My thoughts and my heart were in two different places — and “Fear” became a song that I felt I needed to make in order to heal. But creating the song was only half the battle. Over the years, I would go back and forth on releasing the song but I never was able to really get the courage to do it.
But in 2020, I made a vow to myself that I’m going to unleash the WOULF and release some of the music I’ve recorded in the past and get out my own “fear” and become the beast I need to be so I can take my music career to the next level. I’m just excited it’s finally out and everyone can listen!”
“Fear” marks his first drop of the year, so be sure to stay locked in with WOULF as he has a lot more planned for the new year.
