On Saturday, October 25th, Casamigos helped hip-hop legend Ludacris celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disturbing tha Peace Records. A.K.A., the iconic label that shaped early-2000s rap and put Southern hip-hop on the map.
The night kicked off with an intimate dinner before opening up to a packed celebration at The Gathering Spot, one of Atlanta’s hottest cultural hubs. Inside, guests were treated to a walk through Ludacris’ legacy. From archived art and memorabilia to never-before-seen footage documenting the rise of Disturbing tha Peace. The event built up to a cinematic moment. The skies lit up with a custom drone light show, as a tribute to Luda’s 25-year journey in music.
The guest list read like a who’s who of music, film, and culture. Attendees included people like Anthony Mackie, Jermaine Dupri, Fergie, D-Nice, Kevin Liles, Polow da Don, Todd Tucker, Rocsi Diaz, Kenny Burns, DJ Greg Street, I-20, Shawnna, Chingy, Dolla, Chaka Zulu, and Jeff Dixon. Between catching up and dancing to Luda’s biggest hits, everyone raised a glass, or can, to the milestone.
Casamigos kept the energy flowing all night with their signature canned Casamigos Margaritas. It was served from a branded margarita cart, along with three custom cocktails named after some of Ludacris’ most iconic records: Splash Waterfall (Casamigos Blanco), Stand Up (Casamigos Reposado), and How To Paloma (Casamigos Blanco or Reposado).
Each drink tied back to a moment in Ludacris’ career. Moreover, serving as a creative nod to the hits that built his empire.
As the night came to a close, Casamigos and Ludacris raised one final toast to 25 years of music, culture, and community. Luda has a legacy that continues to inspire both hip-hop fans and artists around the world.
