Meet BirdVision Entertainment: Power players who are shaping the West Coast’s sound

In a little over half a decade, BirdVision Entertainment has solidified themselves as emerging power players within the music industry. Trying to attain success while operating independently can be difficult and yet, BirdVision Entertainment (BVE) has stood the test of time. No matter how tough became, founder and Compton native Ervin “Bird” Gainer never lost sight of his original vision. When he first set his sights on creating the company, his aspirations were to create something positive for his hometown. “I wanted to start something that my neighborhood could be proud of, so that’s what I did and BVE was born.”

BVE originally started out as All Out Squad in 2015 before rebranding and becoming BirdVision three years later. The transformation kicked off the company’s elevation that catapulted them into position of building artists into stars. One of their first successful ventures was getting Roddy Ricch signed to Atlantic Records through a joint venture in 2017. The successful move is exactly the kind of win that BVE needed to fully bring the vision to life.

Now with everything in place, Bird began to put his team together that could take the company to new heights. What he needed is someone looking to take the company as far as he is. It was then that he got his close friend and fellow Compton native “Donovan “Donbo” Samuels to become his partner for BirdVision. The two had long worked together and when they teamed up for BVE, the decision was no brainer. “I had already been helping Bird for a long time, like picking up deliveries for his promo stuff, or just whatever he needed, so it only made sense for us to team up.”

The duo have become partners and their success has soared ever since. In just the past two years, BVE has racked up countless gold and platinum records, including a coveted Diamond record with Roddy Rich’s smash hit “The Box”. If you ask them, their achievement is credited to them always becoming more educated on the game. “Part of what we’ve learned is that it takes a certain mainframe and strength and sense of loyalty to make it in this industry”.

And their accomplishments are only the beginning, as they have set their sights on even more. Their latest successful ventures include securing Interscope deal for singer Rosemarie and a deal with Epic for AAP Deno. And it’s still only the beginning for Bird and Donbo as they look push the company higher in the future. They’re already looking into expansion, with talks of a publishing company coming soon. “As we continue expanding at such a rapid pace, we plan on launching our publishing company as we expand our roster of artists”. At this rate, their hustle can take BVE to a summit only seen from a bird eye’s view.
