Stan Genius is a talented singer, songwriter and musician from Atlanta, Georgia and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. The 19-year-old singer is multi-faceted and has a skillset that spans across being able to play the keyboard and a having versatile vocal range.
Stan is currently an undergrad at the University of Southern California and describes his sound as “funky, rhythmic soul rooted in inspiration,” and is influenced by artists like Bruno Mars, Micheal Jackson, and Charlie Wilson.
In 2017, the artist released two full-length solo projects on SoundCloud, and a single titled, “Cross Your Mind,” in 2018. You can watch the music video here.
During an interview with RemixdMag, the singer talked about growing up in Atlanta, getting his early start in music (3 years old) and founding a jazz trio when he was just 9 years old. When asked about how he managed to turn to music as a creative outlet at such a young age, Stan responded that “it always just came naturally,” to him.
Since then, his musical creativity has not stopped Stan has been consistent in creating content + music (you can follow him on TikTok to see more content). Since he just finished up classes last week, he announced on Remixd’s live that he’ll be releasing a new single soon called “Spin the bottle.”
