Nardo Wick shares ice cold new video single “I Be Chillin'”

Just two weeks after Lil Durk and Lil Baby brought him out to perform “Who Want Smoke?” at their recent tour stop in Flordia, Nardo Wick has returned with his new video single “I Be Chillin’.” Continuing his captivating run, Nardo’s new video puts his motivations on display: counting cash, dripping in diamonds and designer clothes, and building on a music career that has taken the industry by force. The video shows this reality as Nardo and his crew—including his father who helped launch his career by producing his beats—bask in the glory of self-made success. “I Be Chillin’” is Nardo Wick’s fourth single amid a career-affirming year.

Nardo Wick burst onto the scene in mid-2020 with a string of releases, including “Lolli,”“Slide,” and “Came Up.” Music gave the shy teen an outlet and a fast following. He might speak in lower case, but Nardo Wick raps in bold, capital letters. In 2021, Wick transformed from making buzzing records to eight-figure anthems. “Who Want Smoke?” became a widespread hit, achieving nearly 40 million streams as well as placements on Rap Caviar and Hip Hop Hits. The song reflected a menacing teen with a no-nonsense approach to life and music. Lil Durk, Future, and G Herbo offered cosigns to an artist who they influenced yet created his own lane. Hit producer Cardo Got Wings laced Nardo for a last-minute request to appear on February’ Judas And The Black Messiah: The Inspired Album. That album topped the charts upon release, putting Nardo Wick alongside the biggest stars of Hip-Hop and R&B. Wick followed with the Nick Mira-produced “Pull Up” in July. Throughout the run, the budding rapper has received praise from Passion of the Weiss, Lyrical Lemonade, and DJ Booth, who included him in a recent “10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now” list. Recently COMPLEX named Nardo among their list of “Best Jacksonville Rappers.”
