DJ Pharris is a legendary Chicago DJ who began his career at Chicago’s WBMX 104.3, has been syndicated on over 48 radio stations, and is now a staple on Chicago’s POWER 92.3 where he has two shows, at 5pm and 10pm daily. He’s one of the chosen few to have been inducted into the Frankie Knuckles DJ Hall of Fame and has worked extensively with Kanye West, co-producing Kanye’s multi-platinum hits “Fade” and “Mercy” as well as appearing as a featured artist on “Cold” aka “Theraflu” alongside DJ Khaled. He also produced Chief Keef‘s “Faneto Remix” (feat. G herbo, Lil Bibby & King Louie) and co-produced Future‘s “Parachute,” as well as other tracks for Young Dolph, Lil Durk, Jeremih and more. In 2019 he launched his own label called This Chicago Music Group in partnership with Create Music after releasing “BO$$” feat. Young Dolph & G Herbo before going on to release two subsequent tracks in 2020, “JUUG” feat. Chief Keef & Jeremih and “GET DOWN” feat. Lil Durk & Lil Zay Osama.
As an accomplished radio DJ who’s met and exceeded many of his personal and professional goals, DJ Pharris is now taking the next step in his career to prove it’s never too late to embark on a new chapter. He’s putting all his relationships and experience to use not only to build a name for himself as a producer, but to create a platform for emerging artists by offering them the freedom and security to grow and develop with his new label TCMG. DJ Pharris has widespread support from his community and peers as well as industry influencers and artists including Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk, Wiz Khalifa, Callboy, Hxliday, and Rockie Fresh who will all be featured on his upcoming debut project, Coronation (out 3/12) which he’ll be announcing this Friday along with his new single, “Everything New.”
