Babyface Ray Featuring Veeze – “Wavy Navy University”
Hailing straight from his brand new album, The Kid That Did, BabyFace Ray unleashes his highly anticipated single “Wavy Navy University” featuring Veeze. For this release, the duo has taken us back to school with the singles’s visual. Additionally, This single samples “Toxic” by Britney Spears. Historically, both Ray and Veeze have proven themselves as two of the strongest forces both solo and as a duo. This single adds on to their many tough collaborations.
Kendrick Lamar – Untitled
Earlier this week, Kendrick Lamar shared a new single via Instagram. This single follows the news of his upcoming headlining performance at the upcoming Super Bowl. Although this single has no name, several of the song’s bars have made its way to headlines, and fans have speculated about what’s next. Additionally, this is his latest release since his summer smash hit “Not Like Us.” You can listen to the song via Instagram.
The Weeknd- “Dancing In The Flames”
Following high anticipation, The Weeknd returns with a pop heavy love song called “Dancing In The Flames.” The song is the lead single from his upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.
Monaleo Ft. Stunna 4 Vegas – “Passenger Princess (Jibbitz)”
Houston’s very own, Monaleo returns with an astounding new collaboration with her now Fiancé Stunna 4 Vegas called “Passenger Princess.” The single encapsulates a semi ode to the Crocs accessory “Jibbitz” while Monaleo and Stunna deliver cleaver word play about their relationship. This single is apart of Monaleo’s upcoming project “Throwing Bows” which is set to be released on September 27th.
IDK- “KiCKIN”
IDK delivers smooth yet effective bars with his latest single “KiCKIN.” He is known to experiment with a mixture Jazz samples as well as more upbeat Hip-Hop sounds. For this release he sticks to the formula. Furthermore, this single is apart of part of his latest two-track release titled 2:22. This single follows his latest track “TiFFANY” featuring Gunna. Noticeably, the “i” is lowercase on both singles.
Playboi Carti – “All Red”
Playboi Carti has been teasing a new release for quite some time now. He makes his return with the single “All Red.” Further encapsulating Carti’s dark aesthetic, Carti raps about it throughout the just over two minute voice altering track.
The Alchemist Ft. SchoolboyQ – “Ferraris In The Rain”
The Alchemist has had quite the release spree this year. This week, he returns with another lyrical heavy release “Ferraris In The Rain.” Moreover, this single features SchoolboyQ. In true Alchemist form he delivers a smooth instrumental alongside the vocals that match perfectly.
Joey Bada$$ Featuring Chlöe- “Tell Me”
Joey Bada$$ delivers a smooth Hip-Hop and R&B blend with the single “Tell Me.” For this single, Joey teams up with Chlöe providing a sensual duet. Furthermore, Joey’s clever wordplay complements Chlöe’s dynamic vocals with ease.
NLE Choppa ft. Carey Washington – “Slut Me Out 3”
NLE Choppa unveils his latest rendition of his raunchy anthem “Slut Me Out 3.” For this round, NLE teams up with Whethan and singer Carey Washington with a more upbeat version of his popular single. Additionally, NLE changes this version of the song giving it a whole new life.
N3WYRKLA ft. Skilla Baby- “Mind Now”
R&B artist N3WYRKLA continues to make waves with her latest offerings “Mind Now.” This single features Skilla Baby. The Timbaland produced record further showcases N3WYRKLA’s genre bending vocals on full display.
