Happy New Music Friday! Here are 10 tracks you have to listen to from this week.

Future and Lil Uzi Vert – That’s It

Arguably the most highly anticipated album from the week was Pluto x Baby Pluto, the joint effort from rap heavyweights Lil Uzi Vert and Future. “That’s It,” the eighth track off of the album, is high energy, fun and sees the two rappers working together effortlessly for one of the many standouts from the album.

DaniLeigh – Superstar

“Lil Bebe” singer DaniLeigh’s newest album Movie is peppered with big features from the likes of PARTYNEXTDOOR, Gunna, and Dababy, who collabed with her on the popular track “Levi High.” However, one of her best performances comes on the slow, sensual cut “Superstar.” The song is airy, sexy and an instant earworm for any diehard R&B fan.

Youngboy Never Broke Again – Toxic

Youngboy’s fourth project of the year features “Toxic,” a ridiculously hard-hitting track that makes you feel like you’re doing 110 down the highway no matter where you are. Check out the Baton Rouge native’s surprise album Until I Return now on all platforms.

Rico Nasty – OHFR?

D.C.’s own Rico Nasty delivers “OHFR?” the third track from her upcoming album Nightmare Vacation. “OHFR?” channels the aggression and punk style from Rico’s hit track “Smack a Bitch” for a boisterous, in-your-face anthem about being better than her haters.

SiR – Footsteps in the Dark Pts. 1 & 2

Initially released as a cover on Youtube, SiR’s spin on The Isley Brother’s classic song breathes fresh air into the 43-year-old track. This serves as the first official track that the Top Dawg Entertainment signee has released since his critically acclaimed album Chasing Summer.

Rod Wave – All Week

The visual for “All Week” sees Rod taking a bus full of family and friends to a waterpark that the rapper had rented out further cementing the track’s optimism and inspiring tone.

Benee – Same Effect

Indie-pop superstar Benee released her first studio album Hey u x following the success of tracks like “Supalonely” with Gus Dapperton and “Glitter”. The album’s second track “Same Effect” is a melancholy foot-tapper that intertwines a fun, catchy spirit with dreary lyrics about being lonely.

Lakeyah – Windows“Windows” is the follow-up track to Quality Control signee Lakeyah’s viral track “Big FlexHer”. Lakeyah, also known as Lakeyah Danaee, raps about moving on from a difficult relationship. over a soulful instrumental.

DJ Scheme – Soda ft. Cordae, Ski Mask the Slump God & Take A Daytrip

Kavale – Down ft. Boogie

Toronto rapper, singer, and producer Kavale teams up with Boogie for “Down”. The cut is wavy and laid back at first glance but is peppered with socially conscious lyrics from both rappers. “Down” is also the first collaboration of Kavale’s with an American artist and certainly won’t be the last.
