This time, artists are showcasing their more emotional and romantic sides within the music. This week is packed with highly anticipated releases and surprises from artists like Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray, Young Nudy, and many more. Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR- ‘Some $exy Songs 4 U’ (Album)
Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have released their highly anticipated love song compilation, Some $exy Songs 4 U. The 21-track album blends PARTYNEXTDOOR’s vocals with Drake’s, while the latter raps. This project marks their first joint full-length release, despite their many collaborations over the years. Although it is primarily a duet, the album features Yebba, Chino Pacas, and Pim.
Yung Bleu- ‘What Makes Us Human’ (Album)
Yung Bleu shares his love-inspired new album, What Makes Us Human. Last month, he teased the project with the release of the single “Friends to Miami,” featuring Meek Mill. The 15-track album also features Bleu’s new girl group, IIMAGINE. Additionally, the project arrives less than a year after his previous album, Jeremy.
Jacquees & Dej Loaf- ‘F*ck A FriendZone 2’ (Album)
Jacquees and DeJ Loaf have reunited for their highly anticipated album, Fck a FriendZone 2. The project arrives as sequel to their 2017 collaboration reigniting their dynamic chemistry. The album is lead by intimate tracks such as “Favorite One,” and “Just Another Love Song.” The project also includes 16 tracks.
Coi Leray- ‘What Happened To Forever?’ (EP)
Coi Leray shares her heartfelt new EP, What Happened To Forever? Following her public breakup with rapper Trippie Redd, Coi returns with emotion invoking singles. The project features 5 songs including the now viral singles “Keep It” and “Lick Back.”
Young Nudy- “That’s Not Gangsta”
East Atlanta’s own, Young Nudy slows it down in latest track, “That’s Not Gangsta.” The street anthem highlights Nudy’s thoughts while getting to the money. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Young Nudy shows he has a romantic side. Additionally, the single is produced by rising producer, Coupe.
Jack Harlow- “Set You Free”
Jack Harlow she’s emotions evoking single, “Set You Free.” The single depicts Jack going through the motions before making a decision to end or stay in a relationship. Additionally, the single’s theme maintains the same relatable theme throughout the song.
Halle – “Back and Forth”
Halle debuts her latest love song, “Back and Forth.” Halle teased the record on social media early last year and now she’s giving the gift of music to her listeners. Through the single, Halle depicts the essence of love and going “Back and Forth,” with a significant other.
Offset – “Ten”
Offset shares the current mindset he’s in with “Ten.” “You gone have to f**k bout 10 more n***as to get over me,” he raps. The track serves as a confidence boost for Offset, where he mainly describes himself as being on a new wave and not being apologetic for anything.
E Dub- “m.l.b.s.b!”
Rising North Carolina rap artist, E Dub returns with latest anthem “m.l.b.s.b!.” The empowering anthem arrives just in time for Valentine’s Day! Additionally, the single highlights E Dub’s straight forward lyricism.
