As February winds down, Remixd Magazine returns with our weekly roundup of the best new music. This week is filled with exciting releases from artists like Nardo Wick, Quavo, Morray, and many more. Read on to discover which artists made this week’s list.

New Music Friday Picks

Nardo Wick- ‘Wick’ (Album)

Kicking things off, Nardo Wick returns with his latest album, Wick. The project arrives just under a month after the release of his Hold Off EP. Lead singles include “Back to Back” featuring Future and “I Wonder.” The album also features 17 tracks with appearances from 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, and Future. This marks Nardo Wick’s official sophomore release.

Morray- ‘Long Story Short’ (Album)

After a four-year hiatus, Grammy-nominated artist Morray makes a triumphant return with his sophomore project, Long Story Short. The Fayetteville breakthrough artist delivers 12 fresh tracks that highlight his authentic storytelling and personal narrative. The album is a solo effort, with no guest features. However, it includes singles like “Out the Hole,” “F.T.A. (Failure to Appear),” and “Breakthrough,” among others.

Eem Triplin- ‘Melody of a Memory’ (Album)

After much anticipation, Eem Triplin has released his debut album, Melody of A Memory. The Pennsylvania artist, who has been teasing the project for some time, delivers a 13-song collection featuring singles like “Miss Me?” and “Fiji,” both of which debuted last year. The album also includes collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign and Cruza. Additionally, the project is executive produced by Eem Triplin himself and DJ Dahi.

Quavo- “Trappa Rappa”

Earlier this week, Quavo debuted his latest single, “Trappa Rappa.” Throughout the track, he reminds listeners of his contributions to the game and gives a shout-out to his former rap group, Migos. In this single, Quavo highlights his accomplishments while further solidifying his presence in the rap industry. He also brings back his signature flow for his first solo release early last year.

Don Toliver, Pharell Williams, Speedy & J-hope- “LV Bag”

Don Toliver has released his latest single, “LV Bag,” highlighting his traditional blend of smooth melodies and catchy beats. The track features Pharrell’s signature production and includes additional contributions from J-Hope of BTS and Speedy. The laid-back single continues the theme of subtle flexing, showcasing Don’s wealth. Both J-Hope’s and Don’s vocals blend seamlessly throughout the melodic track.

Coco Jones- “Taste”

Coco Jones shares soulful new single “Taste” For this release, Coco fuses Pop royalty with her rich R&B sound. For starters, the song features a hook sampled from Britney Spears’ 2003 hit “Toxic.” Furthermore, the single showcases a more sultry side of Coco’s artistry. The single is also paired with a highly choreographed music visual. The single also arrives as the third release from Coco’s upcoming album, Why Not More? Which is set to be released in April.

Jorjiana & GloRilla- “ILBB2 (Remix)”

Rising rap sensation Jorjiana has unveiled the remix to her viral hit, “ILBB2,” teaming up with GloRilla for the release. The single serves as an empowering anthem for women. The two also join forces for a music video inspired by ’80s workout classes, where they flex their muscles throughout the visual.

310babii & James Brown- “Bad”

Inglewood’s own 310Babii returns with his latest dance anthem, “Bad.” The single features a special cameo from the legendary James Brown, whose voice is heard on the song’s hook. Additionally, the track samples Brown’s 1973 chart-topping hit, “The Boss.” With this release, 310Babii blends his modern California sound with a timeless classic.
