Mustard is great at curating a sound, and this album has something for everyone. Previous released single “Parking Lot” is one of the standouts, however other surefire hits on this project include “Ghetto” ft. Young Thug and Lil Durk, and “Up Now.”
‘The Coldest (Deluxe)’ by Skilla Baby
‘The Coldest’ by Skilla Baby is a gritty, hard-hitting project that doesn’t shy away from showcasing emotion and street authenticity. However, one song off the project named “Booby Trap on the Water (feat. Bossman Dlow)” finds the two rappers dropping some of their hardest bars about reaping the benefits of their success. Moreover, as the sly trap beat sounds off, Skilla Baby and Bossman Dlow assert they have hittas for the opps. Similarly, the Detroit rapper makes it known that he isn’t just friendly to anyone. “I f**k wit n***as/I just ain’t f**king wit yall/My young n***as quick to slide on s**t ’cause they do fraud,” Skilla Baby raps. Moreover, when Bossman Dlow hops on the track, he delivers some flex-worthy rhymes like “Quarter million dollar car im driving like this fast and furious/Pull off in a presidential push-up Lamborghini Urus,” for instance.
‘Diamante’ by Gordo
Gordo’s ‘Diamante’ shines with its polished production and global influences. Blending reggaeton with electronic elements, this project offers a fresh take on Latin urban music, perfect for those who appreciate a vibrant, cross-genre sound. C Stunna’s ‘Still Stuntin’’ is all about flaunting success and resilience. It’s an official Gangsta Grillz mixtape, so the production and quality of this is A1. Moreover, this project features upbeat tracks with high-energy beats and catchy hooks. It showcases C Stunna’s skill for creating club bangers and anthems of triumph. Moreover, the project has a few standouts including “No Pad or Pen” ft. Luh Tyler, and previously released single “Lose Control” ft. Real Boston Richey. “Angry” by TA Thomas
TA Thomas expresses that his partner’s rage gets him going in the passionate R&B offering “Angry.” Throughout the song, TA Thomas details the infuriating moments that make his woman appealing. “I love the way/You get to slamming doors/It’s gon be a long night,” he sings. “Take advantage of that attitude/N’getcha in the mood/Whether it’s a long day/Or it’s my fault/I just love the tension.” Elsewhere in “Angry,” TA Thomas encourages his lady to blow some steam off, crooning “I’m just tryna push you the limit/See how far it goes/Tell me that you had enough.” The song, at best, explains how he finds a thrill in his lover’s wrath.
“Double Up” by Chicken P
Chicken P’s piano-led single “Double Up” comes off his new project, Still Bussin. In the song, the Milwaukee rapper tells the haters to focus on chasing a bag instead of what’s in his wallet. Chicken P then raps about his riches. He follows up with rhymes about his come-up, riding for his day ones, his hustling methods, and how others can get their money up. Still Bussin follows his recently released tapes 4EvaLit and Hardest N****a Livin’.
