It’s new music Friday! As we roll into the second full week of May, the month has already brought plenty of surprise releases. As always, Remixd Magazine is back with our weekly roundup of the best new music. This week features fresh drops from André 3000, Kid Cudi, Tyla, and tons more of your favorite artists. New Music Friday Picks

André 3000- ‘7 Piano Sketches’ (Album)

André 3000 is back in the spotlight with a fresh new sound. Following the success of his 2023 fully flute-based instrumental album New Blue Sun, André surprises fans once again with the release of 7 Piano Sketches. Like his previous project, this album is entirely instrumental—this time featuring only piano. The project consists of seven tracks with a total runtime of 16 minutes. Adding to the surprise, André 3000 promoted the release in memorable fashion at this year’s Met Gala, where he wore a baby grand piano on his back.

Left Gunplay & Jason Martin- ‘Can’t Get Right’ (Album)

California’s own, Lefty Gunplay joins forces with JasonMartin for their new project, Can’t Get Right. The duo drops 15 tracks, including highlights like “Menace” featuring The Game, and the title track, “Can’t Get Right.” The album also features guest appearances from Ty Dolla \$ign, YS, Negra, and others.

Sailorr- ‘From Florida’s Finest’ (Album)

R&B sensation Sailorr shares her debut album, From Florida’s Finest. Following her groundbreaking single “Pookie’s Requiem” last November, Sailorr follows up with her highly anticipated full-length project. Moreover, the album includes 14 tracks and stands out as it features no guest artists.

Kid Cudi- “Neverland”

Kid Cudi returns with latest single, “Neverland.” The single takes on an alternative approach as Kid Cudi display’s his vocal ability throughout the single. The song “Neverland” takes on a relatable approach as it describes a need for escape from reality. Keeping things traditional, Kid Cudi continues to connect with fans by mixing realism and fantasy.

That Mexican OT & Lil Wayne- “Baby Mad At Me”

That Mexican OT continues his single release spree with “Baby Mad At Me.” For this release, That Mexican OT slows it down a bit from his notable upbeat tone. The song describes turmoil within a relationship. Moreover, he teams up with Lil Wayne who matches his melodic energy seamlessly.

Tyla- “Bliss”

Tyla’s sensual vocals delivery peaks through within latest single “Bliss.” The single “Bliss” takes on Tyla’s emotional escape when surrounded by her lover. Staying true to her sound, the single fuses Afrobeats and Pop making it her latest summer anthem.

Anycia- “No Scrub“

Anycia shares latest single “No Scrub.” Throughout the song, Anycia flexes her punchline styled bars all while sharing how she isn’t settling for less. Furthermore, the single holds narration from DJ Drama, whom narrated her previous viral single “Never Need” featuring GloRilla and Karrahbooo. The single “No Scrub” arrives ahead of her upcoming Mixtape, Grady Baby.

Loe Shimmy – “Dirty Money”

Loe Shimmy makes brief return with “Dirty Money.” The song takes on a short story telling approach taking on themes of women and money. As Loe Shimmy continues to climb the ladder as one of the more prominent melodic rappers in the industry, “Dirty Money” adds to his vault of staple records.

Luck ft Manny Wellz- “Sunshine”

Rising R&B artist, Luck flexes her rich vocals while blending her clever lyricism with “Sunshine.” The single displays a fun filled yet authentic love story while showcasing Luck’s versatility as an artist. Furthermore, the single is feature another upcoming musican, Manny Wellz who complements the song perfectly. Safe to say, Luck is adding her special charm to the world of R&B.
