Party In My Living Room redefines collaboration with bold new double album ‘Relatives & Cousins, Vol. 1’

Party In My Living Room

Party In My Living Room (PIMLR) has officially dropped their new album Relatives & Cousins, Vol. 1. And it’s not just another compilation. It’s a cultural experiment, a family reunion, and a tech-forward milestone wrapped into one ambitious double album.

Built on the foundation of community and innovation, the project pushes boundaries by pairing human creativity with AI-generated sample beds from Suno. But let’s be clear, this isn’t AI making music for artists. It’s AI as raw clay, handed over to real producers to flip, chop, and transform into something undeniably soulful and deeply human. The end result? A record that feels both futuristic and familiar.

The 15+ track album is split into two moods: Disc 1: Function — pure energy. Tracks like “Happy,” “Real Bish BDay,” “FYE,” and “LOTTA A$$” channel the chaos of a packed living room party. Think sweaty walls, red cups, and no skips. Disc 2: Soul — slower, warmer, and inward-facing. It leans into legacy, introspection, and the emotional weight of growth.

The features read like a roll call of West Coast excellence and underground royalty. Cocoa Sarai, Tiffany Gouché, Blu, Baron Davis, Fat Ron, ROC SOLID, Airplane James, Iman Omari, TOBi, ICECOLDBISHOP, and more. Behind the boards, production from Ro Blvd, Khrysis, Sounds Like TC, Iman Omari, sndtrak, MeLL Beets, The Eastie Boyz, DJ Kase, and 3rd Party keeps the album dynamic from top to bottom.

Relatives & Cousins, Vol. 1 is proof that innovation doesn’t have to erase authenticity. It can amplify it.
