Detroit heavy hitter, Peezy is soon to be hitting the road. This past week, Peezy took to Instagram to share the news of his upcoming “Ghetto” Tour. Peezy will be kicking off the new year with his tour beginning in January. Additionally, Peezy further built anticipation for the upcoming tour by sharing a visual for his song “Intro.” This announcement comes just a week after the release of his latest album “Ghetto.”
“Happy to Announce My “Ghetto” Tour Starting January 18th, We Kicking It Off In Oakland,” the rapper shared in an Instagram post. Tickets were up for grabs just a few days after the announcement.
Peezy’s latest visual
Seamlessly, the track “Intro” is the first song featured on Peezy’s new album “Ghetto.” The three and a half minute track, now accompanied by a music video, tells a visual story of the songs storytelling essence. “Intro” details Peezy’s upbringing while sharing the adversity he faced throughout his life. The visual depicts Peezy’s story through acting while including a series of cut in shots of him present day. The visual currently has over 200k views at the time of writing.

Moreover, Peezy’s latest album “Ghetto” is what he has called his “Most personal work to date.” The 16- song project features the single “No Amiris” featuring Memphis rapper Key Glock. Staying true to his roots, “Ghetto” includes features from various Michigan artists such A Babyface Ray, BabyTron, Skilla Baby, Cash Kidd, and Rcm Mike to name a few. Additionally, Peezy sprinkles in the west cost sound with artists such as Ty Dolla $ign and Larry June. He also released additional visuals from the project for songs such as “In The Hills,” and “Psilocybin” featuring BabyTron.
