Multi-platinum and award-winning rapper and singer Morray guested on the Show Some Love podcast hosted by Tallie Spencer.
The “Quicksand” standout was candid on the topic for Episode 11 “How To Make a Relationship Work”.
Known to be vocal on social media about a plethora of topics notably how to navigate relationships, the charismatic rapper brought his expertise on the latest episode of media marvel Tallie’s podcast, SSL.
From the discussions around male vulnerability in music, showing up as his authentic self in his art and in his personal life “I’m an emotional being, I put it all in the music. I never fake it till I make it” he affirmed, “If you not doing things out of love, what are you doing it for?” He challenged, Morray was relentless in being an open book in any relationship encounter.
Tallie chronicled the North Carolina rappers’ significant life events such as being married and a father at 18, “It’s well known you got into fatherhood and were married pretty early” she raised, Morray spoke on his code, principles and how it has helped nurture him as a person and in bettering his decision-making even when relatin with other people, including his significant other.
“We were young. My parents are married and divorced but I always wanted to do things my way. We (me and her) thought that was the right way at the time. I’m the type of person if I f*** with you I really do and don’t care about any external noise or anything” he said of his ethos.
The “My Life” emcee touched on the importance of learning through mistakes after he divorced his first wife and co-parenting thereafter. Besides that, the interview examined relationships, ingredients on staying afloat during rough patches in relationships, and how to sustain longevity.
