EZ Papi (@therealezpapi) returns with new music! This time, he’s sharing “Summer in Ghana” which has an ambient and relaxing vibe with a sweet and sexy undertone for the ladies.
The creation of the song was influenced by the artist’s admiration for the beautiful black women in Africa, particularly those from Ghana.
“Me constantly seeing videos on social media of beautiful black women in Africa,” he says. “Mostly the women from Ghana inspired me to create this song forsure.”
The decision to pursue an Afrobeat sound was natural for the artist, as he has been doing Afrobeats for a while and has connections with top Nigerian Afrobeat producers and artists.
“I feel like I didnt find Afrobeats, it found me you know,” he said. “I know it sounds cliche but I’ve been doing Afrobeats for a while now even before it was a cool thing to do in the states.”
The artist wants listeners to get familiar with his brand, as he plans to become the number one artist in the world with a strong catalog of music. Fans can expect more music and content from him throughout the spring and summer, with hit after hit dropping.
“I’m really tryna leave an imprint in the music industry with my sound,” he said. “I’ll be dropping music every month all spring and summer this year. Hit after hit. So get your Summer Playlist ready!”
If the artist had to pick one word to describe his vibe going into the summer, it would likely be “motion,” to match the high-energy and catchy nature of his music.
