Harlem newcomer R2R Moe unleashes new single “HAWK ‘EM”

R2R moe

Harlem’s own R2R Moe (@r2rmoe) is back with a vengeance on his latest single, “HAWK ‘EM.” The song a tight, two-minute drill offering packed with slick wordplay, moody production, and his signature “Angelic Drill” aesthetic.

“HAWK ‘EM” floats on a vocal sample and drums, with R2R Moe effortlessly bending his flows to meet the beat. The track lands following a transformative 2024 that saw him earn the ultimate co-sign from UK legend Skepta. That nod led to their viral single “Miss Independent” (12M+ streams). The success of the song also led to a show-stopping performance at Skepta’s Big Smoke Festival in London.

But Moe’s moves haven’t stopped there. Late last year, he took his talents to Asia for a string of shows in Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul, building with international fans and tapping into global sounds that continue to shape his sonic identity. With momentum on his side, he’s entering 2025 full steam ahead.

Already known for standout tracks like “9 LIVES,” “FAIR2ME2,” and “FACE2FACE” (featuring Cash Cobain, Vontee the Singer, and Chow Lee), R2R Moe has shown he’s not just another name in the drill scene. He’s steadily building something of his own. Moreover, he’s fueling his own movement. His sold-out headline show in NYC and viral On The Radar performance only further proved that he’s got the charisma, catalog, and consistency to back it all up.

After dropping 28 songs on SoundCloud in 2024 alone, Moe kicked off the new year with “PLUTO” featuring Highway and the introspective banger “PROGRESSION.” With “HAWK ‘EM,” R2R MOE is proving he’s he’s already here. Thus, he’s redefining drill on his own terms.
