Crenshaw District-native R&B powerhouse Xian Bell (@XianBell) (pronounced Kee-yon Bell) releases his highly-anticipated new album ‘Crenshaw At Midnight,’ via Drastic Measures.
Produced by longtime collaborator Rated TG, the album explores Xian Bell’s redefinition of modern R&B. He does this through a vivid sound, shaped by the inspiration of Los Angeles culture.
The 11-track body of work is the taste of a new era for Xian Bell. It is one that celebrates his appreciation for musicianship while giving listeners an experience they’ve never felt before. Also, along for the journey are collaborators and friends – TDE rapper Reason, 4x Platinum singer Zacari. Others on the project include Drastic Measures label-mates Leah Writes & Ryan Yates, and Carson lyricist Jayson Cash.

‘Crenshaw At Midnight,’ continues the storyline that Xian first introduced with his 2019 project, “You Were In My Dream,’ only this time he’s over it. Xian’s lead single “Control,” feat. Ryan Yates received approval from Uproxx praising the track as having “firmly established Xian in the R&B realm.” “Control” is produced by Grammy Nominated producer Nabeyin (Kanye West, Drake, Nas, Miguel, G Perico). And Tyler Rohn (Cardi B, Sevyn Streeter, Normani), and Rated TG (Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign,). This fan favorite is already creating buzz by charting on Apple Music’s “Hot Tracks” after featuring on the Brown Sugar, ATL R&B, Pillow Talk, and The New LA playlists.
