Track Review: Numbas, Bentley Green – kill em all (Ball)

Gruesome 305 rap star Numbas is back with another fitting track. A characteristic anthem to his street-leaning rap aesthetic, Numbas delivers yet another scathing take on being successful over his haters with “Kill Em All (Ball)”.

Lauderdale rapper Bentley Green hops on the track to send it home with a textbook verse.

Numbas, Bentley Green – Kill em all (Ball) Review

In a whispery hook, Numbas and Bentley show off their chemistry as they recite the chorus together with a looming cadence.

On the backdrop of a Bruh Bruh Play The Beat (BBPTB) laced instrumental, BBPTB delivers a glistening trap beat with plenty of groove and melody. Supplemented with different sound effects such as vocal samples and glimpses of a flute-like sound in the background, BBPTB dresses the instrumental with personality whilst allowing the artists space to be heard perfectly.

Throughout his verse Numbas is on a roll masterfully showcasing his synchronicity with the beat. Topically, he maintains on the song’s theme even affording to purchase some slick wordplay and references to Basketball .ie.

“Diplomatic immunity, never caught a f*ckn charge, ball on the referee, how you make that stupid call?” he raps in double entendre alluding to Bentley who was released from a five-year bid, and now runs legitimate businesses with dog kennel retailing and food distribution.

Bentley then arrests the instrumental with a juvenile verse that speaks to being grimey selling and cooking cocaine as a means to survive. He basically flexes throughout his brief cameo that oozes imperealism and confidence in whatever he does.

Numbas is growing in stature as an artist and a popular figure following his latest anthem “Gator” featuring Kevin Gates amassing 25,000 streams on its first week has been on a bright purple patch.
