Upcoming artist Safe Travels recently shared his debut single “Listening To Your Heart,” and it’s one for the books. Born in Alexandria, VA and Arlington bound, the melodic singer get his artist’s name from music’s ability to remain nostalgic worldwide.
His debut to the world “Listening to your Heart,” showcases stunningly soulful vocals and speaks to the unspeakable battles people endure. “This record is about battling the struggles of addiction & battling ones insecurities,” he says.
Safe Travels took it upon himself to create a platform where fans can stay in tune with what he has cooking up — dubbed as “Sunday’s Ain’t Safe,” it’s his way of releasing bits of behind-the-scenes footage to keep his listeners in tune with his everyday life as an artist.
While it being a heartfelt song, the underlying message is a powerful one. Safe Travel’s is undoubtedly making himself heard and passion is what inspired him to create music. From a young age Safe Travels played the saxophone and at the time was his musical escape. “I wanted to learn every instrument that ever existed from piano all the way down to Bassoon,” he said in a recent interview.
From playing the saxophone in streets of Georgetown to recording artist, Safe Travel’s story is truly inspiring. His first ever single “Listening to You Heart” is a great introduction to the world of Safe Travels. The song features tasteful beats, saturated bass and an audible effort to remind listeners that they’re not alone.
“I hope the fans get to listening to my music and understanding that the world isn’t so lonely,” he said. “There’s millions of kids around the world and though we’re all unique in our own way.”
