Diddy has remained in the headlines within the past several months. Earlier this week, Rolling Stone published an article with a host of new allegations against him from over the years. The list of allegations goes back to as far as his college years at Howard University. Additionally, the new host of allegations stem throughout the course of his career as a Hip-Hop mogul. Following the release of the article, his lawyer, Jonathan Davis, has responded to the new list of allegations made against him.
“Mr. Combs cannot comment on settled litigation, will not comment on pending litigation, and cannot address every allegation picked up by the press from any source, no matter how unreliable,” Jonathan Davis stated.“We are aware that the proper authorities are conducting a thorough investigation and therefore have confidence any important issues will be addressed in the proper forum, where the rules distinguish facts from fiction,” He added.
Diddy reflects on “Dark” past
Furthermore, the article published by Rolling Stone highlights more stories from alleged victims of Diddy’s past in which he has called “Dark.” The information in the article was conducted over a six month span by investigative journalists Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon. During the several month span, Rolling Stone reached out to over 300 people for interviews about their experiences with him. However, more than 50 responded for the article. The article also supports the lawsuit filed by Cassie this past November detailing accounts of abuse. Earlier this month, CNN shared footage of one of the encounters mentioned in her lawsuit showing Cassie being physically attacked by him. Earlier this month, he responded to the footage via Instagram with an apology video. “I was f—ed up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable,” he said.
Moreover, Diddy continue to deny a plethora of lawsuits placed against him. The article published by Rolling Stone has opened up additional allegations against him. Although he has apologized for the recently leaked footage, he has publicly claimed his innocence. You can read the full article by Rolling Stone here.
