Get ready to be blown away by the ambitious artists’ first installment of his own developed sound palette known as ‘Pop N B’
When talking to the enigma that is STÔRI, an aura of poise, calm, and exuberant appeal fills the room and the moment instantly.
The Los Angeles based figure engrained in modeling, photography, and all-round coolness, has now inserted music into his bag of tricks, and it’s already giving “Superstar”.
If his modeling ethos is something he intends to infuse into his music, it’s fair to speculate that his sound will be nothing short of high mastery and brightness.
Speaking to Remixd Mag exclusively on the coasts of LA, the aspiring musician teases us with his first single expected to arrive this March:
“Well, the single is “Stay,” he parades to us, explaining women have been the spark for his pilot song. “Stay is a calm, super sexy island vibe. It illuminates strong uninhibited confident energy. My inspiration is of course Women the divine feminine.”
He also mentioned that he’s working with New Zealand producer Shaan Mehta for his upcoming music. For a long time, songs that have thematic resonance to women, love, and general feel-good, empowering nature and characteristics have always been a charm, and STÔRI is no stranger to this.
“Music is healing and I definitely believe I can be of contribution to that concept” he reveals, “I want fans to feel a vibe of euphoric escapism. This music is sexy positive, full of cultural embrace. In the time we are all collectively experiencing right now. My hope is people can use my music to get away and mentally stimulate a vacation experience day to day.
Already stimulating our minds to wander off in curiosity whilst laying the foundation of what is to come, he goes to express his outlier sound is one unheard of, but not too foreign. The idea of expanding sound and innovating in music is picking up, and he won’t be left behind with his own generation of the same:
“I created my own genre kinda I call it Pop n B. The first layer I’m stripping away at infuses afro/island influences. So like a Wizkid/Kevin Lyttle/prince/Michael Jackson/slick rick lol” he mentions.
Being March already, fans no longer have to wait to experience this euphoria, and we cant wait to be blessed by it, STÔRI.
