The Weeknd announces ‘After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour’

The Weeknd

The Weeknd is gearing up for his highly anticipated After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour, which will kick off on May 9 in Phoenix, AZ. This new tour, named after his latest album Hurry Up Tomorrow, marks a major moment in the artist’s career as it coincides with the conclusion of his celebrated trilogy. Following After Hours (2020) and Dawn FM (2022), Hurry Up Tomorrow serves as the final chapter of this era, a project that features 22 tracks with guest appearances from Florence + the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Travis Scott, Future, Anitta, and more.

Moreover, The Weeknd announced the tour on January 31, taking to his social media to reveal the full details. Fans will be able to secure tickets to see the artist in over 20 cities across North America, with Playboi Carti and Mike Dean joining as special guests. The tour will wrap up on September 3 in San Antonio, TX, promising an unforgettable live experience.

However, if you’re heading to The Weeknd’s Los Angeles shows, don’t expect to catch Playboi Carti in the lineup. The only place to see him perform in LA will be at Rolling Loud California on Sunday, March 16th. In addition to Carti’s performance, Peso Pluma is headlining on Saturday, March 15th, alongside A$AP Rocky. This marks a historic moment for Rolling Loud. Peso Pluma becomes the first non-hip-hop artist ever to headline the festival.

The Weeknd Takes To Socials To Announce Tour

In an exclusive interview with Variety, The Weeknd reflected on his decision to conclude his onstage persona, stating, “Part of me actually was thinking, ‘You lost your voice because it’s done; you said what you had to say. Don’t overstay at the party — you can end it now and live a happy life.’” He explained that now felt like the right time to pivot away from his current artistic phase, emphasizing, “Once you understand who I am too much, then it’s time to pivot.”

As fans eagerly await the start of the tour, Hurry Up Tomorrow and this monumental tour represent the closing of a chapter for The Weeknd, cementing his legacy in music before transitioning to new horizons.
