Rolling Loud California 2024 was more than just a festival—it was a wild ride through the current music scene. From the lineup stacked with superstars, to surprise guest appearances, and the carnival vibes that had everyone feeling like a kid again, Rolling Loud was the ultimate hip-hop playground. This year was more unconventional, with a 4-day lineup (including Ye & Ty Dolla $ign), instead of the usual 3 days.
However, over the past decade, Rolling Loud has been the stage for unforgettable performances and pivotal cultural moments. Rolling Loud California 2024 affirmed the festival’s ongoing ability to captivate audiences and shape conversations well into the future. All three/four days of the L.A. edition of the World’s Largest Hip-Hop Festival was truly remarkable, featuring the best of the best headliners and performances alike. Some highlight performances came from Ye, Nicki Minaj, YG, PartyNextDoor, Rae Sremmurd, Sexyy Red, Post Malone, Bryson Tiller, Flo Milli, Summer Walker, Future & Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, and more.

1. Headliner Heaven
Ye & Ty Dolla $ign, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Future & Metro Boomin turned the stage into a realm of harmonious enchantment. Specifically, Post Malone’s return to the stage was a huge moment. Post Malone’s comeback to the Rolling Loud stage on the festival’s first night was nothing short of spectacular. After a hiatus since 2021, the genre-blending sensation returned to deliver a set that transcended expectations. With a backdrop of Hollywood Park’s vibrant atmosphere and stellar performances from the likes of $uicideboy$, Summer Walker, and Big Sean earlier in the day, Post Malone seized the spotlight. From chart-toppers like “Better Now” and “Sunflower” to the crowd favorite “White Iverson,” Posty had the audience in the palm of his hand.
2. Future x Metro Boomin’s Fiery Finale:
The night soared to new heights with the dynamic duo of Future and Metro Boomin commanding the stage for a finale that set the night ablaze (literally). Amidst a spectacle of pyrotechnics and laser effects, Future and Metro unleashed an arsenal of hits, spanning from classics like “Mask Off” to the latest tracks from their upcoming joint album WE DON’T TRUST YOU. However, the energy reached its peak when Travis Scott made a surprise appearance, joining forces with the duo for a performance of “Cinderella.” With additional contributions earlier in the evening from Don Toliver and Quavo, the set was a masterclass in collaboration, leaving the audience exhilarated and hungry for more.
3. Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday Extravaganza
Friday at Rolling Loud California belonged to none other than the incomparable Nicki Minaj, whose Pink Friday takeover left an indelible mark on the festival. Celebrity fashion designer, stylist, and Hip Hop personality Desto Dubb and his popular streetwear brand ‘That’s A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup’ held one of the best activations this year. Moreover, he took over Rolling Loud’s ENTIRE Carnival and had not one, but two retail stores onsite for THE ultimate experience. Furthermore, Byson Tiller brought out Lola Brooke, and Chief Keef had the crowd going wild when he brought out Sexyy Red. YG brought his boo, Saweetie on stage, followed by a heartfelt proclamation of his love for her. Lastly, would it be a Ye appearance without his twin North West by his side? We can answer that for you, nope! These unexpected collaborations added a thrilling twist to an already electrifying lineup, convincingly demonstrating that at Rolling Loud, anything is possible.
7. Unforgettable Standout Performances From Newcomers
