Trey Billz is an artist on the rise and he’s next up from Chicago. In a recent interview with Remixd Magazine, Trey Billz says that he’s always been passionate about music. He’s been maneuvering throughout the South Side spreading his message one production at a time. Striving to be great, he’s collaborated with hot Chicago artists such as Valee and FBG Duck, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the underground Chicago hip hop scene to date.

“Music has always been in me since I child from rapping on computer mics in grade school to making beats,” he says. “The people I started with and my child are my biggest inspirations.”

Going by the name Trey Billz since he was “always hustling” in high school, he stuck with the name and ran with it to create his artist moniker.

His sound can be described as “motivational and active, very diverse but straight to the point.”

Influenced by some of the greats, Trey Billz says his sound is inspired by artists such as: “Lil Wayne, Lex Luger, Kanye, and Future.”

His latest project, released January 2023 and titled ‘Billz Due’ is an 8-track project that showcases Trey’s talents. Standouts include “Love Kills” and “Star Up,” — both of which are upbeat anthems that portray Trey as having a hard delivery and rhythmic flow.
