Tribe Mafia’s “Reach for the Stars” becomes the ultimate feel-good anthem, debuting on CW’s “All American”

Tribe Mafia

Tribe Mafia’s latest release, “Reach for the Stars,” is produced by Grammy-nominated Phil Lewis. The Texas Hip Hop Duo, consisting of Chinasa Broxton and Carlos “Dashawn Daniels” Moore, brings a carefree, energetic, and upbeat pop/electronic dance sound to their new hit single. Fans of Chris Brown, Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, and Benny Blanco will be captivated by this upbeat anthem about self-focus.

Tribe Mafia’s meteoric rise in the music industry began with touring South America alongside superstar Akon, including a performance in Sao Paolo, Brazil. As official performing artists at the prestigious SXSW Music Festival, their unique sound and magnetic stage presence have garnered widespread acclaim.

Drawing inspiration from diverse musical influences, Tribe Mafia incorporates old-school hip hop (Outkast, Nas, Ice Cube, Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne, and Drake) and pop (Ed Sheeran, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown) into their music. They also infuse afro/indie vibes from artists such as Burna Boy, Shiloh Dynasty, Koffee, Billie Eilish, Sublime, and My Chemical Romance, creating a sound that truly resonates with listeners.

“Reach for the Stars” made its debut on the hit CW series “All American” (Season 5, Episode 15), now available for streaming on Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV. This isn’t the first time Tribe Mafia has been involved with sync, as their music has been featured in various TV shows and films. Their song “Supposed to do,” produced by Phillip Lewis, was part of CBS’s “Bob Hearts Abishola” (Season 4, Episode 4). In addition, “Hype me up,” produced by Mr. Rey, was showcased in “All American” (Season 5, Episode 17).

Tribe Mafia’s music has also made its mark in the film industry, with placements in “My Partner” directed by Keli’I Grace, “Kendrick” directed by Marvin T. Finch, “Heartbreak Falls” directed by John Michael Nolan, and “It Ain’t What You Think It Is” directed by Crayton Gerst.

With their latest release, “Reach for the Stars,” Tribe Mafia continues to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the music world. Their infectious sound and empowering message will inspire listeners to reach for the stars and embrace their unique journeys.
