Born as Jada, Jae’ adopted her artist name due to her family’s affectionate use of it. She explains, “My family always called me that, and every time I sing or do music, the name always stuck with me. So now I go by Jae’.”
Jae’s music can be described as a fusion of Hip-Hop and Alternative R&B. She aims to reach those who have overcome life’s challenges and learned to love themselves better. “My sound is Hip hop and Alternative R&B. I want my music to reach people who went through things but got out of whatever they were in and was able to love themselves more,” she explains to RemixdMag.

Moreover, her passion for music runs deep, with influences stemming from vocal powerhouses like Brandy, Ambré, and Zae France. On the Hip-Hop side, she looks up to artists like Kaash Paige, Lakeyah, Flo Milli, and Flo Milli.
Jae’s latest project, BBB “Big Bitch Boss,” is set to drop in mid-November. Inspired by the strong women in her life, the project pays homage to women who excel in various domains and handle their responsibilities with grace. “This project means a lot to me. It’s due to the women in my life or the women in the world who can do the same things that men can do. Also the women who are juggling a lot by themselves and dealing with things but still can be a boss and do things professionally!” Jae’ expresses.
However, as for what’s next, Jae’ is working on her EP, “Elemental,” which promises to be a musical journey like no other. With a focus on self-love and authenticity, she hopes her music inspires and helps others navigate life’s challenges.
