Usher continues to rollout special surprises following his Super Bowl LVIII halftime performance. Earlier this month, Usher delivered a high energy halftime set with special musical guests such as H.E.R, Alicia Keys,Ludacris, Lil Jon, and Will.i.am..As fans continue to rave about the unforgettable performance, Usher has yet to leave fans hanging on the topic. Instead, Usher gives fans a closer look at the making of the show in a new documentary.
In a new documentary shot by Apple, Usher gives fans a 10 minute behind the scenes look during the preparation of his halftime performance. The documentary shot by Mike Carson and Xiaolong Liu on the latest iPhone models, 15 Pro and 15 pro max, shows footage from rehearsal and well as the actual show. Additionally, the 45-year-old entertainer shares his personal preparation for the show including footage of him receiving physical therapy techniques such as cupping therapy. Outside of physical preparation, the documentary reveals Usher’s intentionality in including multiple culture’s together during the set. These include, HBCU, The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Hip-Hop, Skating, as well as the MGM era of the 20’s and 30’s. “My Music you know.. kinda pulls all those people together so why not have a show that can represent that level of quality,” he said. Additionally, the documentary includes rehearsal of Usher and Alicia Key’s performance of their 2004 duet “My Boo.” You can watch the full documentary down below.
Usher is bringing his upcoming tour to Europe
Furthermore, Ushers continues to gear up for his highly anticipated upcoming ‘Past Present Future’ tour. As major cities have already sold out, Usher has been adding more dates. Next year, he will be taking the tour to Europe and the UK. Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 12th at 12PM local time. You can view all six European dates down below.
