Vincent Manzullo is back with his latest release ’90s Kid’ and it’s everything nostalgic that comes to mind. The title of the 7-track release captures the essence of a ’90s vibe with its chilled, laid-back melodies and instrumental flows that Manzullo incorporates this time around. The New Jersey-born artist has been consistently putting out music since he first began his career and has been steadily gaining traction with every release. His past releases include two projects, 2021’s Mind Over Oppressive Decisions & 2 Realities — and now Manzullo is showing audiences a new wave of versatility with his latest, ’90s Kid.’
“This entire body of work really came together naturally,” Manzullo told RemixdMag. “I am a 90s kid at heart. Just the culture of the 90s as a whole really has always stayed with me. So it felt natural. It felt fitting. Watching Kennan and Kel, All That, Power Rangers and Michael Jordan on McDonalds commercials.”
With standout singles such as “Just Grind,” “Growing Old,” and “90s Kid,” Manzullo bends and defies genres as he lets his true artistic ability shine. He’s not afraid to be himself and showcase the growth that he’s experienced in between his last releases. The entire vibe of the project is something that is easy and soothing to listen to in just one press — audiences are in for a treat with ’90s Kid.’
“This is a multidimensional hip hop project,” he says. “I hope readers can take away my versatility as an artist. Elements of different genres can be heard throughout the track list. Some genre touching examples are alternative rock, indie pop.”
