Atlanta based R&B singer-songwriter Xenia Manasseh has shared her affable second EP following 2019’s contriving debut Fallin’ Apart.
Known for her refreshing sound that captivates listeners with the clarity and pureness of her tone, the EP is entirely produced by Willow Smith collaborator, Ukweli.
Addressing themes of love, fear, desire and allowing oneself to love again, Xenia’s ethearal vocals compliment Ukweli’s percussion driven Afro R&B production.
Xenia has written for artists such as Teyana Taylor on The Album on songs “Wrong B*tch” and “Shoot It Up” featuring Big Sean. Her other writing credits sprawl on songs like Vanjess’s “Homegrown” for the song “Surrender”. She has worked with Mr Eazi, Tay Iwar & Burna Boy on “Time Flies” on his magnum opus, African Giant.
Ukweli meanwhile has produced songs for artists like Willow Smith, has been named in the 2023 class of You Tube Black Voices Fund alongside acts like Jozzy, Armani White, BabyFace Ray and others, he has played a multitude of festivals globally, and equally is tipped to be the producer to watch in 2023.
