Blue Collar Gang rapper Yadda Man is giving his listeners the experience of a day in the life with his new Kerrigan-directed music video.
Reaching back into 2021 and revisiting his breakout JiMMY project, Yadda Man recruits his frequent collaborator, artist-producer Y-Beezy, for his Cali Dreamin’ “Hard Knocks” music video.
Following along with Yadda Man’s delirious low-rider adventures in the City of Angles, “Hard Knock” is all about, “Getting off your ass, and making things happen,” according to Yadda himself. As Yadda Man and Y-Beezy cruize the city in a pair of clean old schools, the Midwest lyricist cycles through his bag of bars to deliver two of his most captivating verses in recent memory.
“Solo/Gotta go and get the money dolo/Niggas in the way, way way,” Yadda Man raps over the whimsical production from Y-Beezy.
Yadda Man’s evolution as an artist is on full display throughout his JiMMy album. The project serves as a litmus test for his resilience, with tracks such as “The Basement” confronting the dark place he was in a year prior to the project while “Hard Knocks,” which quickly became a beacon call for the electric vibes on the project, exudes a confident persistence.
Since gaining considerable traction following the release of his Cream project in 2020, Yadda Man has remained focused on channeling his energy into becoming the best artist possible. As a result, he’s earned co-signs from Hip Hop heavyweights such as JID, Stalley, Reason, Slim Jimmy and Kato the Producer.
Yadda Man has also opened for countless artists such as Waka Flocka, Dizzy Wright, Bones Thugs N Harmony, and Afro Man, among others.
