Ike Rhein releases catchy new single “Just Like You”

Ike Rhein is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter who is a Grand Rapids, Michigan native, now residing in Miami, Florida. He just released his single “Just Like You,” on Friday and has already received an incredible response.

Rhein discovered his voice and passion for music at a young age. He learned how to play numerous instruments, and began creating melodies, compositions, and songs as a child.

Ike Rhein has since been featured in countless media outlets and worked with various talents such as YN Jay and multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated Vinny DeLeon. With a fusion of futuristic notes and nostalgic vocals, Ike Rhein’s distinctive sound is on its way to the forefront of the global stage.

What is your artist name? What is your real name? How did you get your artist name?My artist name is Ike Rhein which is actually my nickname that I’ve been called my whole life! My real name is Isaac Rhein.

At what point in your life did you decide to pursue a career in music? In 2020, when I was 18, is when I decided to move to Florida to pursue my career seriously!

Has your upbringing played a role in shaping who you are and defining your sound today? If so, how?My upbringing has definitely played a role. Coming from foster care, to being adopted at age 11, I had a lot of early pain. The pain I’ve had has really helped me become a better artist, helped me write better lyrics and to push to find my sound.

How would you describe your sound to readers who may not be familiar with you?I would describe my sound as a Harmonic pop with some acoustic and hip hop sounds.

What ultimately inspired you to dedicate yourself to a music career?I always heard the quote from Nelson Mandela that says “There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” This quote really inspired me to reach my full potential. To not settle for anything less than the life I’m capable of living.

What’s one reason you are passionate about music and what inspires you?I’ve always had the passion for music. I believe that music is a common language for all. It doesn’t matter what race, religion, language, it doesn’t matter. Everyone can connect through music. This has always inspired me to continue my craft.

Tell us the name of the project you are currently promoting? What inspired this project? This song is called “Just Like You.” It’s more of an acoustic song and what really inspired it is that I wanted to make something special and catchy that could show off my range! What is this project about in your own words?

“Just Like You” is about how sometimes people only focus on nitpicking the little things that their significant other does that makes them upset, but their significant other could do just the same to them!
What’s one of your most proud moments of your music career so far?So far, it would be my “Not For Me” music video! I loved shooting it and it performed very well!
What’s next for you? Are you working on any upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for? Include some dates if you have them.I’ve actually got 3 more smash hit singles on the way! You can expect at least 2 before year end.

What message do you hope fans take away from your music and from this project?Just that relationships can be difficult, but no one person is better than the other!
