ASAP Rocky is on the brink of unveiling his fourth studio album, ‘Don’t Be Dumb.’ But he’s leaving a lot to the imagination when it comes to what audiences expect. However, he has said that he feels it will be his best work y et. In a recent conversation with DAZED, the Harlem rapper pondered the album’s essence. “I’ve been really experimenting as usual, and what I like about this is it feels like my best work yet,” he revealed. “I don’t want to tell you what to expect. I just want people to experience it how they do naturally.”

Rocky, while currently remaining elusive about the album’s release date, has previously teased fans with glimpses of new music. His newest single, “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n),” dropped in July this year. In that same month, he took the stage at Rolling Loud Miami 2023 and previewed more unreleased music.

Five years have passed since A$AP Rocky dropped his last album, ‘Testing,’ in 2018. Throughout the year, ASAP has been teasing his fans with subtle hints and insights. From baby names to song titles, and a Beats commercial, he is throwing some hints. During a different interview with Complex, he provided a sneak peek into the album.

In a new Beats commercial, viewers witness ASAP Rocky lacing up his Timberlands and heading to an AWGE-branded convenience store to grab diapers for his baby RZA. In doing so, the 34-year-old MC introduced the world to the first single from ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ titled “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n),” an homage to the late wrestler Roddy Piper, with an assist from Pharrell. The song “Riot,” is just one of many tracks, including “Same Problems,” “Sh***n’ Me,” and “D.M.B.,” which will allegedly appear on his upcoming album.

During his Complex interview, Rocky said that leaks have been a significant factor in causing delays for the album’s release. He stated “These leaks need to stop. Every time, we have to start over from scratch.” In addition to what else fans can expect, Rocky revealed a star-studded collaboration with A-list producers for ‘Don’t Be Dumb.’ Some of the producers he mentioned included Metro Boomin and Hit-Boy, plus newcomers Madlib, The Alchemist, and Hitkidd.

When Complex asked, “are there any other surprise producers on the project?” Rocky responded with, “Absolutely. We got Pharrell Williams, we got Dean Blunt, we got Metro Boomin. I don’t want to leave people out. We got Hitkidd, we got Tyler, the Creator, myself, Madlib, The Alchemist. We also got Mike Dean, Swedish House Mafia, and I don’t want to give too much away.”

It’s safe to assume that Rocky has some heat on the way. A$AP Rocky’s fans have been eagerly awaiting this album for quite some time. Until the official release date is revealed, fans will be eagerly searching for additional clues and music releases, eagerly anticipating what could be his “best work yet.” Let us know what you think!
