Ice Spice will make her SNL debut.

Over the last few months, the future of television as we knew it was uncertain due to the writer’s strike. However, with the WGA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) reaching an agreement to end the strike, SNL is back with its 49th season airing October 14th. And what better way to start the season than to bring on Bronx’s very own, Ice Spice.

The iconic NBC comedy series took to their X account to announce the news of celebrity guests for their first two episodes. This also includes Pete Davidson as the host, and the following episode will tap Bad Bunny as the host and musical guest.

This mark’s the “Munch” rapper’s debut late-night television performance. With hits such as “Deli”, “Barbie World”, and “In Her Mood”, Ice Spice has a range of songs to choose from to make this a hot performance.

And speaking of hot performances, Ice Spice recently made headlines for her recent performance at Listen Out Music Festival in Sydney, Australia. While performing “Princess Diana”, Spice’s admired backside almost went up in flames while doing her signature twerk in front of the pyrotechnics. However, she made light of the situation with a joke as she shared the clip to her Instagram with the caption, “Swipe to see pyro take me tf out”.
