Burna Boy confirms new album “Love, Damini”

The Grammy-award winning artist from Nigeria has announced 2020’s Twice As Tall follow-up.

Grammy award winner and prolific Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu has announced the title to his forthcoming body of work.

Amidst his historic sold out Madison Square Garden performance last night in New York, Burna Boy Presents One Night In Space, the “Ballon D’Or” recording and performing artist sent the attending audience to a frenzy when he officially announced the album’s title.

“New York. I’m sure when you came in today, they handed you a piece of paper with a QR code to scan. Right?” He said in a call-back statement.

“That QR code is a pre-save link to my new album titled Love, Damini. Damini’s my real name which means smile in my language” he said as he belted hit after hit greeted by screams and applause.

Previously, Burna had teased the album during his appearance on The Tonight Show hosted by Trevor Noah.

“It’s gonna come out on a day everyone celebrates when it’s their own. That’s something deep for you to take home” he riddled to Trevor when probed of the record’s release date.

Well, fans’ thirst for the multi-platinum artists new music will be quenched.

His last album was 2020’s effort Twice As Tall LP that featured enormous records such as “23”, “Way Too Big”, “Bank On It”, and was the executive produced by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, earning Burna his first ever Grammy nod among various other accolades.
