Love, red flags and a birthday celebration take center stage at the Los Angeles premiere of Forever, This Ring. The cast and guests gather at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre to celebrate Turnstr+’s debut film project ahead of its October 2 release.
Remixd Magazine was on the carpet, putting everyone’s relationship standards to the test with “Put a Ring on It, or Run?” We gave guests dating and relationship scenarios, and they decided whether the person sounds like marriage material or someone they need to run from. With a film centered on a marriage gone wrong, there’s plenty of reason to talk about warning signs.
Directed by filmmaker and former record executive Chris Stokes, Forever, This Ring stars Taye Diggs, Loretta Devine, La’Myia Good, Erica Mena, Marques Houston and Malik Whitfield. The psychological thriller follows a wealthy couple whose seemingly perfect marriage quickly falls apart when the husband discovers his new wife isn’t who he thinks she is.
The guest list brought together familiar faces from music, television and film, including Jonathan Majors, Serayah McNeill, Justina Valentine, Annie Ilonzeh, Ken Lawson and Reed Shannon. Mari Morrow, Jessica Jarrell, Natasha Graziano and Kiera Please also joined cast members, Turnstr+ executives and partners for the premiere.

The evening gave guests a first look at a film that puts trust and commitment under a much darker lens. Between the thriller’s premise and our carpet game, one question kept coming up: when it comes to love, what makes you stay, and what makes you run?
