Barely a week after Episode 8 with international DJ Siobhan Bell took social media by storm, Tallie Spencer has dropped another bombshell episode starring Grammy-nominated R&B heartthrob Ye Ali.
On this weeks’ episode, the two debate about dating exes.
Platinum-selling record producer Ye Ali opened up on allowing his sexual partner being friends with her ex and he was adamantly poised about it:
“If I’m rocking with you, and I gotta second guess everyone you kick it with because they’re the opposite gender, I’m not rocking with you. If I have to second guess everything you’re telling me, that’s exhausting. I’m trusting whatever you say. I’m not going to look you up; if you tell me you’re somewhere, I’m assuming you there. I’m cool with you being cool with your ex. Invite him over. Tell him to come with his girl, bring something to dinner. It’s not that deep to me” he said before clarifying if he was still attached, the rules do not apply.
The “Dangerous” artist known for producing Grammy nominated records such as “Pitch Black” by Chris Brown and “Already Best Friends” by Jack Harlow and Chris Brown answered every question with class and spoke about a multitude of topics.
From setting boundaries with exes, platonic friendships, friendzoning, how to deal with an ex, music media Tallie stripped back every peel of the onion with her questioning, even tackling the dark side of predatory relationships in music and entertainment, and the plight of women gaze in the male-dominated music business.
“Working with artists, I have to friendzone myself out the gate” Ye unveiled. “I let them know I’m here to do music, be your homie. I’m not ‘that other producer or artist’, I get what happens but I like to make women comfortable and that applies to life as well” he affirmed. “You have to be someone people can trust and be comfortable with” Ye and Tallie both agreeing to hidden agendas, manipulation, and blackmail being normalized in the music business confines.
Equally, they spoke on having friends of the opposite sex and how it affects relationships in the cluster of themes on the thrilling and educational episode that never lacked in engagement.
