The album is about a character that tries to avoid becoming a “stereotypical rapper” and how he becomes everything he’s trying to avoid.

In an Instagram Live Interview on Wednesday, REMIXD Magazine got a chance to speak with actor, musician, comedian, and TV star Lamorne Morris about his recently released comedy rap album, “The Lamorning After Pill.”

During the interview, Morris talked about the meaning behind “The Lamorning After Pill.” He told REMIXD Magazine that the narrative of the album is about a character that tries to avoid becoming a “stereotypical rapper” and how he becomes everything he’s trying to avoid.

Later in the interview, Lamorne spoke about what his experience was like co-writing his favorite episode of New Girl & being able to portray his personal experiences as a Black man living in America.

“You have a voice, you have an opinion on it,” Lamorne said. “So it’s coming from a real place. There’s no research needed, you’re living it.”

The actor also revealed that he has a few projects for fans to look forward to from him in the near future, including a new show called “Woke” that will be on Hulu in the upcoming months.
