What inspires me is the drive to create first and foremost, since I was little drawing and making things out of nothing has always been fun to me; visualizing or hearing something in your head and bringing it into reality, is an experience like no other.”

Drawing inspiration from artists like Earl Sweatshirt and tobi lou, as well as producers like Tyler, The Creator and Cam O’bi, Red Velvet Papi crafts introspective tracks centered around themes of love, relationships, and personal growth. Moreover, his latest single “She Want Me,” released on February 26th, is a testament to his creativity and humor. What started as a playful idea involving his pet rabbit evolved into an infectious, upbeat track celebrating self-confidence and individuality. With its catchy hooks and vibrant production, “She Want Me” invites listeners to embrace their inner greatness and revel in their uniqueness.

“It just started with a line about my bunny,” Red Velvet Papi explained. “The final product is an upbeat, bouncy track about feeling like you’re that guy (or however you identify), that you’ve always been that guy and nobody can ever compare.”
