R&B singer-songwriter Isaiah Falls has surprised fans with a new project titled LUCKY YOU. The six-track EP, which dropped without warning, blends the emotional depth of classic R&B with sleek, modern production. Moreover, it features an impressive lineup of collaborators including SiR, Alex Isley, Chase Shakur, and Joyce Wrice.
Described by Isaiah as “a gift for my listeners,” LUCKY YOU feels like a love letter to intimacy and connection. From the first notes of “Brown Sugah” featuring SiR (a smooth, soulful ode celebrating Black and Brown women) Isaiah sets the tone for a project rooted in sincerity and appreciation. On “God Is Real,” he channels spirituality and romance in equal measure. He explores a love that feels heaven-sent.
The chemistry with Alex Isley on “Just a Dream” is effortless, gliding over lush instrumentation that recalls the golden age of slow jams. “Enticing” with Chase Shakur injects a late-night sensuality, while “Butterflies” featuring Joyce Wrice stands out as one of Isaiah’s most magnetic tracks to date. Warm, melodic, and full of charm. The closing track, “Have My Babies,” strips everything back for an intimate confession that lingers long after the final note.
The surprise drop follows the success of Isaiah’s acclaimed project LVRS PARADISE (SIDE A) and a sold-out UK tour. Over the past two years, he’s quickly emerged as one of R&B’s most compelling voices. His breakout single “Florida Baby” earned him Billboard’s Rookie of the Month title and a spot on Complex’s 2025 R&B Artists to Watch list.
With LUCKY YOU, Isaiah Falls continues to expand the emotional and sonic scope of contemporary R&B. He proves once again that vulnerability and craftsmanship never go out of style.
