Justin King Combs put rumors to rest that he is gang affiliated with “GDK.”

In this climate of being a hip hop artist, it is a bit common for rappers to be tied to gang affiliation. Moreover, word on the street is that hip hop rapper King Combs is defending his name. It all comes after allegations that he is gang affiliated. This happened after a video circulated of him being caught on video saying “GDK.” Which is a gang. As HotNewHipHop reported, Justin Combs took to social media to address the recent rumors around him being gang affiliated. In an Instagram post, King Combs denied all claims about him being in the gang GDK aka Gangster Disciple Killer.

The post read, “I am not affiliated with no gangs and I’m not a gang member.” The fans wasted no time in voicing their concerns regarding the rumors, “I feel like bro was just playing but its more backlash cause of who he is and where he come from. We all say crazy stuff just like this when a girl we mess with record us,” read a comment made by someone.

What sparked the rumors?

Moreover, the rumors began after Chicago rapper King Yella and several others called out King Combs. In the video posted on IG, King Yella said, “You don’t come from the streets or come from none of that. You were born famous, not from the streets. Came from a rich daddy that is fighting a bunch of sexual allegations and crazy stuff. And you want to come to talk about GDK. Don’t let them GDs get with you dude. GOOFY!”

In an era where artists are critiqued for their lifestyle choices in addition to their music, King Combs was quick to shut down the rumors. However, King Yella felt like he was the one responsible for making King Combs apologize in the first place.  “Aye Puffy’s son, I’m proud of you, man,” he said. However, then King Yell went on to say, “I make n*ggas apologize and say they don’t gang bang.”
