Migos member Takeoff has died at Houston Bowling Alley

The popular rapper, 28, was shot during a private party following an altercation

Multi-platinum selling artist and award-winning entertainer Takeoff has been murdered.

According to TMZ, the early morning shooting took place shortly after 2:30 AM at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. The police were called to the scene and pronounced Takeoff dead on arrival.

Remixd Mag can confirm multiple reports that the rapper, real name Kirsnik Khari Ball, succumbed to a stray bullet hitting his head or neck before killing him instantly according to law enforcers and authority.

Two others were shot and rushed to hospital in private cars meanwhile Takeoff’s uncle and one third of Migos, Quavo, was at the scene but did not suffer any injuries or wounds.

According to witnesses, a fight broke out when Quavo was playing dice at a party while Takeoff was in attendance. An altercation broke out and 5 shots were fired according to an audio dispatcher obtained by TMZ. A bullet hit Takeoff in his head or near his head and the rapper was fatally killed. Quavo who can be seen in an orange shirt on the video kneels down and screams for help as he looks down on his nephew on the ground.

Before the incident, Takeoff posted a photo of himself on Instagram smoking what looks like a blunt. Separately, Quavo was spotted driving around with Jas Prince, a popular Houston native and icon in rap culture, as they bonded celebrated the latter’s birthday party. Jas, a Mob Ties member & close affiliate to Drake, was not at the scene when the shooting occurred.

Quavo and Takeoff had just released their latest project Only Built For Infinity Links.

Takeoff joined the Migos rap trio in 2008 before they went on to splash on to the scene with multiple hit records and videos. Their first record to claim the top of the Billboard Hot 100 was 2016’s “Bad and Boujee”.
