As October is beginning to wind down, Remixd Magazine is back with our weekly roundup of the best new music from the week of October 20th. Moreover, this week is full of highly anticipated releases. Megan Thee Stallion – ‘Megan: Act II’ (Album) 

Megan Thee Stallion returns with the second act to her critically acclaimed album, Megan called Megan Act II.  For this release, Megan pays homage to her southern  roots starting with the album’s early 2000’s Pen & Pixel inspired cover. Heating things up, Megan released the albums first single “Bigger In Texas” which is accompanied by the release of a music video. This album includes 13 new songs bringing the entire Megan series to 30 songs. Additionally features include artists such as Flo Milli, Twice, Spiritbox, and RM from BTS.

Cochise-‘Why Always Me?’  (Album)

Florida’s own Cochise returns with his highly anticipated album Why Always Me? Following months of teasing this release, Cochise delivers a highly animated and energetic release. This project features the previously released singles “Nasty” featuring Aminé, and “4AM.” For this release, he teams up with Anycia, Veeze, and as mentioned, Aminé. This album comes just a year after his previous album No One’s Nice To Me. 

Hunxcho- ‘Thank God’- (Album) 

Hunxcho had delivered a groundbreaking performance this year. This week he puts his faith on display with the release of his latest project Thank God. Hunxcho has been hinting at this release since his previously released singles project Before The Album  which debuted in June. This album infuses the singles “Part of the Plan,” and hold me down. Additionally, Thank God  is loaded with features from artists such as Keyshia Cole, Don ToliverLil Durk, Mariah The Scientist, and Ty Dolla $ign to name a few. 

G Herbo – ‘Big Swerv 2.0’ (Mixtape) 

G Herbo returns with the sequel to his Big Swerve Mixtape titled Big Swerve 2.0. The tape includes 8 new songs alongside the entire Big Swerve project. As the mixtape was already loaded with features. G Herbo adds Chris Brown, Meek Mill and Lil Durk. 

Gucci Mane & Sexyy Red – “You Don’t Love Me

Gucci Mane recruits Sexyy Red for the single. “You Don’t Love Me.” The single serves as a modern day spin to Gucci’s 2010 classic single “I Think I Love Her.” Throughout the song, Sexyy Red brings the energy while reminiscent on the already hit single. Gucci also samples himself with this rendition. 

Tyler The Creator- “Noid”

As Tyler The Creator begins to usher in his latest era, this week he debuted the single “Noid.” Short for Paranoid, Tyler shares a melodic bar heavy song that touches on mental health. This single arrives just a week before his highly anticipated upcoming album Chromakopia which is set to be released October 21st. You can watch the music video for “Noid” below. 

Summer Walker “Heart Of A Woman”

Summer Walker returns with an emotion provoking single “The Heart Of A Woman”. Throughout this song, Summer rekindles the heart of 90’s R&B touching on the themes of breakups and self worth. Additionally, this single arrives as the lead single from her upcoming album “Finally Over It.”

E-Los – “Searching” 

Boston’s own E-Los shares “Searching.” The single discusses the highs and lows within the talking stage of a relationship. E-Los delivers his affections flow over the R&B styled instrumental produced by PDUB. 

Bailly Castillo –  “Tempted”

Emerging Singer- Songwriter, Bailly Castillo bares all with their latest single “Tempted.” The relatable yet heartfelt anthem highlights Bailly’s rich vocal performance. Packed with emotions, Bailly describes having mixed feelings within her relationship. The just under 3 minute single arrives just in time for the colder months. 

Kyle Richh, 41, and Cash Cobain- “Closure”

Kyle Richh teams up with Cash Cobain for “Closure.” Additionally, Kyle recruits his 41 collective for this record. Each of them have been making waves in the drill scene within the past few years. The love inspired single further propels the New York drill sound organically.
