New Music Friday: The best new music featuring Future, Beyoncé, and J Cole

The best new music from the week of July 10th!

New Music Friday Picks

Future – ‘The Real Me’ (Album)

Despite initial assumptions, Remixd Magazine can assure you that Future is not washed yet. Upon reflection, ‘The Real Me’ is truly Future in his most raw form as he revisits past concepts that collectively define him. For added clarity, he did this with zero features, making this even more impressive.

J. Cole – ‘Birthday Blizzard ‘26’ (EP)

As findings reveal, J. Cole’s last album might’ve not have received the positive reception he expected. For once, it was nice to hear to drop an EP where he’s able to flex his pen opposed to a full concept album. From here on out, he needs to give us pure bars and beats.

Juicy J & Project Pat – ‘Dem Goats’ (Collab Album)

All things considered, there might not be another brotherly duo in rap as accomplished as Juicy J & Project Pat. Furthermore, it’s overdue they finally did a whole project together and it was worth the wait. Above all, this is a fun listen that you’ll want to revisit all throughout the summer.

Jacques – ‘Mood’ (Album)

Undeniably, no other vocalist is coming close to Jacquees when it comes to cover/remixes. With that in mind, how dope is it that we were able to get a project of just that with ‘Mood’ without the filler? By far, this is one of the best artistic decisions he could’ve ever made.

Sango – ‘RHYTHM & MELODY’ (Album)

In a broader sense, one could argue that rap music has taken a noticeable quality dip. Directing my focus to Sango, his newest album gives me hope that the purest form of rap is intact. As it seems, Sango is back and his time away has given his music a fresh breath of air.

Kenarri – ‘Trinity Tapes II: The Son’ (EP)

Again and again, Atlanta has shown they can produce a star out of thin air. For that reason, you should consider checking out Kenarri’s based of her sheer versatility on her new EP. Taking that into consideration, you can expect more from her this year due to her recent consistency.

Beyoncé “MORNING DEW” (Single)

Collectively, everyone would agree that Beyoncé can never do any wrong regardless of the genre. Having said that, listening to “MORNING DEW” will have you craving another sultry-R&B album. Unpacking further, this may be the sign that everyone has been looking for the long-awaited ‘Act III.’

Yatta Bandz – “Out of Time” (Single)

As needed, Bay Area artists have always found success in openly exploring their emotions within their music. In essence, that’s what makes Yatta Bandz’ music so remarkable, especially his latest release. Apart from this, there seems to be a bright future based on his brilliant storytelling.

We hope you enjoyed this week’s edition of New Music Friday!
