Playboi Carti has been taking the discreet approach within the last few years. Although he has not released any new music within the past few years, fans are excited with any new collaboration he decides to do. Recently, Carti has decided to publicly support his counterparts with his attendance. Recently, he made an appearance at Ken Carson’s album release party for his project A Great Chaos. His appearances seems as one that is smooth as he supports his Opium label artist.
Ken Carson’s album release party
On Thursday, Ken Carson Hosted an al album release party in New York City prior to its release on Friday. Playboi Carti appears to be excited for Ken’s release as he makes his apperance at the party. In a video captured on social media, Playboi Carti is spotted on stage slightly dancing along to the music on stage before a crowd of fans. Ken Carson’s Album A Great Chaos is an 18 song LP. Additionally, The album only includes features from Lil Uzi Vert as well as his Opium label mate Destory Lonely. This project follows Ken’s 2022 release of his project X which followed with a deluxe version. Appropriately named XTENDED. Following the release of the album, Ken released a music video for the song “Jennifer’s Body.” The music video currently has over 100 thousand views just hours after it’s release. This indicates both Ken’s sucess as apart of Carti’s Opium Label.
Playboi Carti’s last release
Moreover, Playboy Carti has been been missing from the music scene for several years. His Last album Whole Lotta Red was released in 2020 as a surprise to his fans. This album featured collaborations with Kanye West, Future and Kid Cudi. Additionally, Carti had not released the project until two years after his initial album announcement.
Furthermore, fans have waited for years for another release from Carti. Although Playboi Carti announced a tour with his artists at Opium, the tour has since been delayed for unclear reasons. Playboi Carti has yet to hint at any new music to come. Fans continue to hope that he will make his return to dropping an album very soon.
