SoFaygo makes his return with new mixtape ‘MANIA’

SoFaygo

After a two-year quiet streak, SoFaygo is back with his new tape MANIA. The project marks his long-awaited comeback mixtape via Cactus Jack Records, reminding everyone exactly why his name rings across the rage-rap and plugg scenes.

The timing of the comeback feels intentional. Fresh off a trip to Tokyo with Travis Scott and still glowing from his placement on JACKBOYS 2, SoFaygo enters this next chapter already carrying momentum. Throughout the year, snippets floated around social media and Reddit threads, teasing what felt like a bigger shift. Then Halloween hit, and Faygo finally revealed what he’d been building: MANIA, his first full-length project since 2023’s GO+.

Also, he released the music video to “Outside,” on YouTube, which is one of the fan-favorites so far.

On the mixtape, SoFaygo locks back in with familiar collaborators Kaash Paige and Hardrock, delivering a project that doubles down on the sound he helped define in the early 2020s. This time, his sound feels tighter and more intentional, like he’s trimming the noise and dialing into his core identity as an artist.

The tape follows his lead single “Money and Clothes” and its cinematic visual, along with a trail of releases over the past two years (“Don’t Hold The Fire,” “Precision” with Don Toliver, “Life So Crazy,” and his feature on NoCap’s “Die For Me”). Together, they’ve kept the spark alive while fans waited for a full statement. MANIA is that statement.

With MANIA, SoFaygo is back in a full-circle way.
