Meet Sol’ana! She’s a singer-songwriter from Toronto making waves with her debut single “I’m Good.” Blending soulful vocals with smooth R&B production, “I’m Good” is a refreshing mix of vulnerability and strength that introduces her as one to watch.
Inspired by a situationship that left her questioning love and loyalty, “I’m Good” is about knowing your worth and reclaiming your power. The message throughout the song is clear. Ultimately, peace is better than pretending.
Produced by Grammy-winning producer Kevin Ekofo (Wizkid, John Legend, Tink), “I’m Good” pairs Sol’ana’s rich, opera-trained voice with soft lo-fi drums and dreamy instrumentation. It’s the kind of song you play when you’re finally ready to move on. It’s giving calm, confident, and completely over it.
What makes Sol’ana stand out is her authenticity. She doesn’t shy away from her truth or her reality as a mom of two. “It’s important to show my kids that you can follow your dreams,” she tells Remixd Magazine. “They’re part of my story, and their support means everything.”
Sol’ana’s musical journey began at age six with piano and vocal lessons, and by nine, she had already won her first competition performing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid.
But beyond the melodies, Sol’ana’s goal is to build a community through her art. Moreover, a space where listeners can heal, reflect, and feel seen. “I want people to feel safe expressing their emotions through my music,” she says.
“I’m Good” is only the beginning of that mission. Check it out below. In the meantime, follow Sol’ana @itssolanaa and stream “I’m Good” on all major platforms now.
