Kehlani – “After Hours”

Kehlani invites a lover to continue what they started in her newest temperature-rising R&B offering “After Hours.” As the single, which samples Nina Sky’s “Move Ya Body,” sounds off the Blue Water Road songstress is looking to catch a vibe with her love interest, crooning, “We don’t gotta take it slow/I’m a hit the gas if you’re ready to go/I wanna feel the sweat, breathin’ through your clothes/The way you touch my neck got me ready to fold.”

By the second verse, Kehlani tells her amor that there’s no rush to leave. The singer suggests that they finish their sensual rendevous after the function is over. Lyrics like “The party is over (Over)/You wanna come with me (With me)/My home never closes (Closes)/Just want you to feel free” indicate this affectionate moment. “After Hours” is Kehlani’s first single in over two years. In April of 2022, she released Blue Water Road, which featured  Justin Bieber, Jessie Reyez, Syd, Blxst, Thundercat, and Ambré.

PARIS. – “4th Quarter”

Following his charming R&B offering, “BNB,” PARIS. is back with “4th Quarter,” a confident banger that reminds others why he’s effortlessly “scoring different like I’m [he’s] Harden/Or Kobe in the Garden.” The song also showcases the musician’s versatility and hustler’s mentality. Moreover, PARIS. proves time and time again that he’s better than his rap peers. He delivers, “I came here to win/I came to ball/Feel like I got to the NBA/If you ain’t convinced then it’s your fault.” Equipped with positive affirmations and a go-getter spirit, PARIS. alludes that he’s the hardest in the music game.

Zach Zoya’s traditional jazz offering “Don Juan” is about not being ready to settle down. Right at the beginning of the single, the multifaceted rapper uses a slew of charming yet honest rhymes to express how much he desires a woman who’s a sight for sore eyes. While using an upbeat flow, Zach Zoya spits, “Baby, your a*s, a aphrodisiac/S**t, I didn’t put in all this work to not keep that/The way you grind on me like magic, s**t/Your pilates teacher can’t teach that.”

As the song continues, Zach Zoya confesses that being single is in his best interest. Additionally, the artist implies that he’s looking solely for a fling. “Don’t start asking what I bring to the table, forget it/My contribution is d**k.”

Krown Vic – “Knock Knock (feat. Big Flock)”

Krown Vic’s menacing trap cut, “Knock Knock (feat. Big Flock)” shows others that he’s ready for all the smoke. Comprised of aggressive rhymes and tough talk to match, Known Vic’s “Knock Knock” details how the rappers plan on getting back at the people who put them in harm’s way. Without hesitation, the Virginia rhymer dares his opps to step up, suggesting that their trash talk will land them in trouble. Known Vic raps, “Made the call on Tuesday he on t-shirts by the weekend/We spin the block/They say we tweaking, how is that you tricked a front/He ain’t pocket tight and running off show him a tragic season.”

In “Knock Knock,” the two rappers detail their love for dinero as well. “Had stacked them rubber bands/10, 10, 10 up,” Known Vic spits. “Made a 100,000 during Covid then I kept going/Now I’m loaning money out to my fam when they need it.”

Bella Dose – “Agua”

Bella Dose’s fiery R&B meets Merengue and EDM offering “Agua” is about a heated dance-off that leaves the lovers wanting more. As the beat goes off, the quartets use vivid lyrics to describe an encounter with someone on the dance floor. The more the anticipation sets in, the more the two seem enticed by each other. Lyrics like “Dale préndeme el aire mi amor/Esta humedad empaña la ventanas con sudor/120 no lo aguanto, burning up, me quema el sol/Baby, tell me, dime ta’ caliente o soy yo?” brings the narrative home.
