If you ask Virginia-bred rapper twinnjrr! (@fcktwinnjrr) to dish about the success of his string of viral hits, he’s quick to bring up the fact that he consulted with his creative peers on nearly all of them. In fact, he’s proud to admit that his friend, Alex, actually served as an impromptu A&R for “Tung,” which quickly racked up nearly 50K Spotify streams almost overnight upon release earlier this year.
“The song [’Tung’] honestly didn’t take long at all,” twinnjrr! told Remixd. “My homie Alex found the beat and showed it to me, and I recorded the whole song front to back within like nine minutes.”
He also unselfishly credits his other close collaborator duxk, who produced the beat for his self-proclaimed first-ever hit “Poets Poem.”
“That song is like my baby,” twinnjrr! said in part. “It’s my first ever hit, per se. It was produced by my homie duxk, who’s in my collective AV8!, and my homie viirxl, who’s also in AV8! They’re both very close personal friends.”
In similar fashion, when it comes to breaking down the actual recipe for his bubbling rap persona, twinnjrr! won’t hesitate to sing the praises of his creative collective AV8!.
“At its core, AV8! is about elevating together—not just as artists, but as people—and continuing to grow while building something meaningful as a unit,” he said.
Comprised of a group of like minded creatives, artists and producers who twinnjrr has known since his sandbox days, AV8!, which operates nationwide, moves with the sole purpose of exposing homegrown talent to the masses.
“AV8! is a creative collective and movement founded in Virginia, although not everyone in the collective is from Virginia,” twinnjrr! explains “The name stands for ‘Always Elevate,’ which represents the mindset behind everything we do: growth, loyalty, unity and continuously pushing forward through every stage of life and creativity.”
In fact, with the help of AV8!, twinnjrr! was able to connect with fellow artist and budding music manager Pink Molli. Serving as a day-to-day manager for Pink Molli has helped surface twinnjrr!’s music from obscure underground art to mainstream-scouted music. In addition to helping twinnjrr! get major streaming placements on curated playlists, such as SoundCloud and SiriusXM’s Hip-Hop Nation partnership playlist Tomorrow’s Rap Hits: The lookout, Pink Molli has facilitated connections with major label executives from outfits such as 300 ENT and Signal records.
While the wins continue to stack up for twinnjrr! and his AV8! collective, the work they are invested in doing is also consistently piling up. As a matter of fact, to finish out 2026, the “Confessions” rapper has major plans, which of course include new releases.
“I’m currently working on a deluxe version of my album, saint, that I’m planning to release later this year,” twinnjrr! said before concluding, “Maybe an EP or two before then, but the biggest focus is the album. I’m going to drop so many songs it’ll be hard to ignore me.”
