Atlanta’s underground scene has long been known for producing artists who push hip-hop into new territory, and rising artist Rarri Dream is carving out his own lane with his music. Born in Atlanta and raised in Lithonia, Georgia, Rarri Dream first discovered music as a teenager after moving in with his father, who introduced him to hip-hop culture and encouraged his creativity. What started with a birthday request for studio equipment quickly turned into a serious passion for recording and creating music.
During an interview with Remixd Magazine, Rarri Dream shares his origins and what he wants listeners to take away from his newest project Road To Riches.
Originally performing under the name FF Rarri as part of Atlanta collective Double F, the artist eventually evolved into the solo identity fans now know as Rarri Dream. The name itself reflects his fast-paced personality and intense energy growing up, while the “Dream” represents the vision he has for his future and artistry.
How He Describes His Sound
Musically, Rarri Dream blends hip-hop, trap, rage, R&B, and techno influences into a sound he describes as “melodic and futuristic.” He aims to create music that feels emotionally honest while still sounding innovative and unpredictable.
“My biggest musical influences when I was younger were Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Chief Keef, and Chance the Rapper,” Rarri Dream shared. “They where the hottest rappers of my generation.”
Albums like 808s & Heartbreak, Man on the Moon, and LONG.LIVE.A$AP helped shape his artistic direction and encouraged him to make music rooted in personal experience rather than trends.
His newest project, Road to Riches serves as a testament to the growth he’s experienced.
“Road to Riches is my testimony,” Rarri Dream contined. “Telling about my journey on the way to success. Explaining how it’s been a long road, but I’m still here. The everything I went through prepared me for this exact moment. The themes and emotions it expresses are happiness, yearning, passion, triumph, and belief.
The project’s lead single, “All The Way,” captures that same ambition through uplifting production.
Beyond the music, Rarri Dream says connecting with fans through live performances has been one of the most rewarding parts of his journey so far. From underground shows in Texas to receiving support from listeners who say his music helped them through difficult moments, those experiences continue to motivate him to keep evolving creatively.

As he enters this next chapter, Rarri Dream wants listeners to feel understood, inspired, and emotionally connected through every release. With a growing catalog, expanding sound, and fearless approach to experimentation, he’s positioning himself as one of Atlanta’s most intriguing emerging artists to watch.
“I want people to feel understood first,” he said. “Like whatever they’re going through … whether it’s confusion, growth, pressure, or just trying to find themselves. They’re not alone in it.”
